Halloween weekend? What on earth?! October just flew out of here like a witch on a broom, and I don’t like it one bit.

As per Friday usual, we are joining Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything to share some favorites from the week.
Kat

I’m in a clothes slump. I feel like everything in stores and online looks too ‘polygamist compound’ or too cropped and 90s. I was perusing Jane.com the other day and found this sweater. I have high hopes. Leopard rarely lets me down, so fingers crossed.

My small group just finished up this study focusing on the verse “I am the vine. You are the branches.” It was really fascinating learning more about the process of growing grapes and making wine and how applicable some of the practices are to our lives. You can get the book as a “group experience workbook” or as a chapter book.

I’m obsessed with these Levi black jeans. They fit great. I got them on major sale, and they are still on major sale. You can’t go wrong with a good pair of black jeans. You just can’t.

Anything that will occupy Annie and Ellie’s attention for more than 1 1/2 minutes, is a winner in my book.

Dot markers and some giant paper. They did this for almost 20 minutes, which was a complete miracle. Now, they were a huge markered mess when finished, but who cares?
These Pom Pom Pictures are so cute and and a great motor skill activity.

Raise your hand if you lived off of Lean Cuisines (with a mile-long list of questionable ingredients) in college? Me. I’m raising my hand. Gross.
I saw this brand in Target the other day and don’t know why I picked them up, but I was impressed with what was in them/not in them and decided to grab a couple. Oh my word. It was delicious. It disturbs me to heat food in a microwave in some plastic type bowl, so I did act super high maintenance and move it to a different bowl. (Kat, stop rolling your eyes.) So, if you’re high maintenance like me, then just know you’re not alone. Anyways, I give them a thumbs up to have on hand for lunch in a pinch.

How many pictures are there of Mark with our girls? 3,416. How many pictures are there of me with our girls? 8. Why? Because men are men and don’t think like that. Therefore, I’ve let this be known, and he has at least tried lately. I was rocking Annie and Ellie the other night and then when we were done, they went to the stairs and shouted for Mark to bring them their water cups, and they just sat down like little demanding princesses and waited. I joined them, and he was nice enough to snap a picture. It’s a new favorite.

We carved pumpkins last night, and he was nice again and took one of me with them. I do exist.

We hope your Halloween weekend is filled with all of the good candy and zero Tootsie Rolls.

Annie & Ellie are adorable, so is Claire, and so is their Mama. Happy Halloween to all! No Zero Bars either except for Paula and Donna. 😉
