How’s everyone doin? Hope you have some relaxing plans on the horizon for this weekend. If you need some ideas, take notes from my 4 year old because she went to the fridge, grabbed some cukes, and decided to take it easy.

We are joining Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything Blog today.

We’ve had a lot of outside time lately. A little gardening and a little al fresco dinners. I am quite a fan of al fresco dining especially when their dad is gone so often. Then I don’t have to clean food up off the floor for 15 min. afterwards.

Combos I love: chocolate and peanut butter, chocolate and coconut, chocolate and orange
Combo I don’t love: chocolate and mint
What’s my second favorite today? Chocolate and mint. I’m obviously a complicated person. I have no idea what possessed me to buy these at Trader Joe’s the other day, but I did. I think it was because it’s only 3 ingredients, and I am high maintenance and love a simple ingredient list. The peppermint is super subtle, so I don’t feel like I’m chasing my chocolate with Scope. Maybe throw these in your red cart next time you’re perusing those aisles.

These have been a favorite for several months, but I’ve just forgotten to mention them. It’s not an everyday thing; it’s more of a couple times a week treat. You’ll find them in the refrigerated section, and I get them at Kroger. They are a pre and probiotic drink, and the strawberry vanilla is my favorite. They do cost a little more than I’d usually prefer, but I don’t drink oat milk caramel lattes with two pumps of vanilla and a sprinkle of nutmeg with hazelnut drizzle, so I feel slightly validated. This is who I am now-a girl who gets excited about probiotic drinks.

I feel like once a month I’m mentioning my love for Lindsay Letters. I know what I like. Sue me. It’s a small business, I love everything I’ve ordered, so I will continue to talk about it. This little nook of our bedroom needed a little something extra. That chair was my grandmother’s and honestly might be 120 years old and was pink velvet. While I do love pink, I had it reupholstered, and it’s one of my favorite pieces of furniture in our house. I recently ordered these two prints, and I love them so much. This is now a favorite little corner.

I wish I had a list as exciting as a probiotic drink, but alas, if I could count “sleep” as a favorite this week, it would be my number one. As I’m typing this, it’s Thursday night at 8:18, and I’m about to pound some melatonin.

I love an easy and healthy and NEW dinner. This buffalo chicken casserole from the Real Food Dietitians checked all the boxes. After I tasted it, I started sending the link to friends.

My apartment had a very weird smell for a while. We were convinced it was the less than stellar neighbors that we had, but they got evicted. And the smell lingered on. We tried a myriad of remedies. Did you know that your kitchen cabinets can get covered in grease, and it can cause odors? I didn’t either until I started researching. Then, I HAPPENED to be watching QVC with our QVC obsessed mother, and they HAPPENED to be selling a miracle degreaser for that problem. I was DISGUSTED by what the rag looked like when I was done cleaning the kitchen. As they would say on QVC, “Don’t delay. Order today.”

I have a cup of hot tea every night before I go to bed. I know how to kick up my heels. My hot tea of choice changes with the season-fall is cinnamon apple, winter is peppermint (obviously). Right now, it’s orange tea season. Get turnt.

This email from my boss was a favorite. I don’t have a lot of skills, but working in a Gilmore Girls/New Girl/FRIENDS/Office quote into any situation is my spiritual gift.

And here is a Michael Scott mantra for your weekend.

Those those new prints! I feel I need some of those cucumbers from Claire after my week. I may need to get some of that degreaser. I’d hate to see the cloth after I clean my cabinets. Happy Friday, ladies!
We could all use a little cucumber moment.
I can’t get over the white chair! What a transformation! I love it.
She’s a beaut.
