It’s Friday, and we’ve got some favorites and some big, exciting weekend plans. Nah. I’m going to a 3 year old’s soccer game, and Kat will probably eat a doughnut at some point.
This gal started school this week, and everyone was happy about it!
We all know peanut butter and chocolate are the perfect duet. Just like Sonny and Cher.
I picked these up on a whim this week and blessed assurance, they are good. I don’t even love almonds; they are my least favorite in nut world, but I like these. You could easily not pay attention and eat the whole bag. I just grab a few as “dessert”.
I decided I wanted to read through the Bible in its entirety. I looked on Amazon, and this one had great reviews. It gives you something from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm, and Proverbs everyday. When I first opened it, it seemed majorly weird to me, but I’m a fan now.
The One Year Bible was a perfect segue into this video. Have a look. The sweet tea part is my favorite and alllll too relevant in today’s world.
I’ve given up refined sugar and caffeine for the month of September. As one of my friends remarked, “Do you not want to live to see September?” Valid statement, but I’m surviving. I’ve tried to add in some wholesome snacks, and this hummus with carrots is my go to when I get home from school. I got it at Target, and I’m a huge fan.
Apparently, I’m on a Mexican inspired kick. This is one of my favorite spices from Trader Joe’s. I sprinkle it on so many things, but my favorite thing to put it on is pineapple slices. Don’t knock it until you try it.
My dear Mother gave me this dress for my birthday. I sent her the link, and she added to cart. What an angel. I wore it to work yesterday and got SO many compliments. The colors are so fun, and it’s comfortable as heck. Not to get all Southern grandma on you, but you do need to wear a slip. Don’t embarrass yourself.
I scoured Amazon looking for it, and they no longer have it available in this short option. But if you’re cooler than me and can pull off maxi dresses, here is the same print in a maxi version.
Thanks for spending a Friday with us and hummus. Happy weekend to all!
