Monday’s post was about my travels to Boston and Nantucket. Wednesday’s post was about Kat’s and my trek to Colorado. Today I’m going to talk about a sweatshirt. I guess I can’t always be a jet-setter. Some days I’ll just have to start my day with scarfing down a piece of toast while two year olds scream at me to change their clothes for the 10th times and then talk about sweatshirts.
Like usual, we are joining the blogs of Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything for some favorites today.

Obviously, I’m starting with this. I posted this same sweatshirt last year, and I bought another one the other day when they were having quite the sale. It’s not too heavy and great with leggings. It’s a fall/winter staple in my eyes.

Coffee? Disgusting. Toffee? My favorite. If it says “toffee flavored”, I’m going to try it. Toffee salad dressing? I’d probably like it. I’ve mentioned the Perfect Bars before, and I love the kids’ size ones because it’s the perfect amount for a snack. However, I saw this toffee one the other day (that looks kind of Christmasy) and obviously had to get it. You can find Perfect Bars in the refrigerated section usually near the yogurt. No weirdo ingredients and protein-filled-all you can ever want.

We visited the patch of pumpkins the other day, and they had a gourd ol’ time. Such a sweet afternoon that ended with Ellie trying to bite me when I wouldn’t let her bathe with the bag of popcorn. What an angel.

As I’m writing this on Thursday afternoon, I just had the realization that my tv hasn’t even been turned on this week if that goes to show you how hectic things have been. The only thing I watched this week was the Bachelorette with two of my friends. Watching trashy tv with your gal pals is always a favorite.

We went to my friend, Marie’s, to watch the most dramatic season ever. She made a copy cat recipe of the Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden. Delicious. Soup. Salad. And homemade bread. My favorite kind of autumn meal.

I teach at a small private school, and if you know anything about the private school world or the education world in general, you know teachers have to wear many hats. Well, I just put on a new hat as “assistant girls’ basketball coach”. What a hoot. I played once upon a time, but it has probably been about fifteen years since I’ve played around with a basketball. I had a blast this week at our first practices and have been sore in places that I forgot about in the early 2000s. Stay tuned. We will for sure be a force to be reckoned with.

It’s the freakin’ weekend. Go out and bathe in some popcorn if you want. You’ve earned it, babe!

Oh my. The twin with the side eye is Kat Jr
We’ve never been told that, but you might be right!
The twin photo. I LOVE it. Reminds me of my girls. That sweatshirt looks really comfy. I saw that recap of Bachelorette and the guy with his head out of the table. Creepier! I love that soup from there so I will check out the copycat recipe. Have a great weekend!
Definite creeper alert.
Love that Olive Garden meme. It’s me.
Amen.
“We went to my friend, Marie’s,” – I am crying. It should say “we hosted at the sacred 1428”.
