Today is National Donut Day. If that isn’t cause for celebration, I donut know what is.

This showed up on my time hop from two years ago. Sweet babies who still had a month left to grow. Now they are out in full force and biting me in the crotch when I take a marker away from them. Yes, that happened this morning. That’s not a favorite, but their little hand hold is.

This top for $14.50 a favorite-so much so that I’ve worn in three times in a week.

I haven’t purchased a swim suit from here yet, so I can’t vouch for them. However, a friend of mine is the one who recommended it to me. (Shoutout to Jessica) They are a little more than I’d like to pay for one, but the goal is for it to last more than one summer, which is about all I can get out of a Target suit. I’m an 89 year old in the fact that I need coverage up top…not because I’m blessed in the chesticle region, but because I spent most of my youth baking my skin, and that part of me gets burnt so easily, and it’s miserable. You can often find me on the beach with a towel covering up that part of me, so I don’t get burnt. Super attractive. Therefore, why not just buy something that already covers? Plus, look how cute. Yes, that’s how I look after stepping out of the ocean.

Speaking of sun coverage, my 30+ year old self wishes my 20 year old self had A. stayed out of the sun as much as possible and B. put sunscreen on my face everyday. I’ve started doing B a little over a year ago, and why didn’t someone tell me to do this when I was younger?!?! This is the sunscreen I use everyday, and that bottle lasts a very long time. Plus it’s light, not greasy, and you don’t even know it’s on your face. No, I don’t sell this stuff; I’m just promoting something I like. My goal is to not look like a well-loved leather wallet in a few years.

I have a friend recommendation as well. My bff of 25+ years (and the most frugal person I know) told me to follow an Instagram account called Lulu Prime. I don’t really understand it, but this girl’s alleged job is posting daily Amazon deals. I’ve bought dresses for like $5 that I always get compliments on because of that account. I have a bikini arriving tomorrow that I paid zero dollars for. I don’t understand it. I just go with it-kind of like flying. This romper was a Lulu Prime steal. A $22 cute romper is nothing to sneeze at, but I got it for $11. Winner. (I’ll iron it. Don’t worry, mom.)

I have always had a love of shoes. I don’t have a particular need for all the high heels I have, but yet, here we are. I’ll hate myself when I have to move them all at the end of this month, but when adorable 60s inspired pumps are on sale for $24, you click add to cart with no regrets.

My roommate and I kicked off our “Farewell Tour” to our apartment by watching the FRIENDS reunion and eating the blueberry grilled cheese from last summer that we dubbed “Best in Show” and eating cheesecake in honor of the episodes- The One with Ross’s Sandwich and The One with all the Cheesecakes. And do we have the weird French poster from Monica and Rachel’s apartment? Yes. Yes, we do.

If it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, just know that you can Uber Eats cheesecake to make things better. Happy Friday!

$0 bikini???? How does this work??
I’m going to check out Lulu. That romper is so cute.
