I am linking up with Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything to bring you a very specific list of favorites for today.
Today is my last day of school! Praise God from whom all blessing flow! And tomorrow, I am running a half marathon against Caroline’s husband. My arch-nemesis. The thorn in my paw. Am I ready? As ready as I’m going to be.

Mark and I are very competitive, and when we decided to run this race, the smack talking began.

Caroline suggested that we put a wager on this race. If I win, he has to sing karaoke with me. His nightmare.
If he wins, I have to donate blood. My nightmare. WHAT a wager!
So today, I’m sharing some of my workout favorites.

Hold on to your socks…..I’m talking about..socks. Yes, this is what my life has become. But I will wear something until it looks like moths got a hold of it. I get my money’s worth. I was actually wearing some sneakers recently that I’ve worn to Europe and my mother said, “Kat, those shoes are awful. I’m pretty sure you brought COVID back to the states on those shoes.” Thanks, Mom. Anyway, my athletic socks were pretty well worn, so I just ordered these. I’m a fan.

I used to run and hold my phone. I’m clumsy. I have a tendency to fall when I run, and I’ve cracked my screen a number of times. This isn’t the exact phone sleeve that I have, but it’s highly rated and fits a wide range of iPhones.

As you can tell above, I love a gimmicky tank top. Look Human has some of my favorites OR I have customized some from this Etsy shop.

I am by no means Chad from the Bachelorette…

……but I have been using this protein powder in my morning oatmeal. Now, this isn’t any ordinary oatmeal. It has beans in it to add fiber. Don’t @ me. I modified this recipe from Paleomg, and I honestly look forward to eating it in the morning.

I’m obsessed with hydration. I know. I’m super fun, and you want to be my friend. Your body needs water. Give your body what it needs. It’s amazing how much of a difference the right water bottle can make. So many of my friends and students have and love hydroflasks. I’m going to sound super lazy, but I don’t want a water bottle that I have to tilt up. I know ridiculous. Give me a tumbler and a metal straw, and I will drink water all day long.

Are these going to be the keys to my success? Goodness, I hope so or else there is going to be a Red Cross nurse who will never be the same. Wish me luck!

Good luck tomorrow, Kat! I’ll look forward to hearing about it.
Good luck! ….or good luck to the Red Cross nurse!!
