Thanks for joining today. I’m joining the blogs of Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer Told Me To to basically talk about….nothing.
WHAT WE’RE EATING
Mark’s been gone a ton this past month. I think he’s been home for a total of 6 nights in the past 30 days.

While I am so grateful he has a job, I will be grateful when he can do bath time with my three little Shamus one night. Since he’s been gone so much, easy dinners have been the name of the game. There have been meals like Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi made this way, a lot of breakfast for dinner, and this pineapple chicken with coconut rice (she did pork, but I pivoted).
WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT
I know this is so cliche, and we are all sick of talking about 2020, but remember last year around this time, and many of us were dumb and thought Covid would be over by June? What a hoot. Ignorance is bliss.
WHAT I’M LOVING
We had some spring pictures done recently, and I may wallpaper the house in them.

WHAT I’M WEARING
I’ve talked about these from Old Navy before, but I wear them all. the. time. They’re comfy, forgiving, and cheap…just like me.

WHAT I’M WATCHING
A friend convinced me to watch this, and it’s fascinating. It has also stressed me out. How could someone lie that much and keep up with it all? I would not make a good con man.

WHAT I’M READING
![Life's Too Short (The Friend Zone Book 3) by [Abby Jimenez]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51UVEU3bp-L.jpg)
Her new book just came out. I enjoyed her other two, so I’m excited to read this one.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
I think Mark and I are getting to escape for a very quick trip to Charleston in two weeks. Summer time is obviously a busy travel time, and I think people have had enough home time and are ready to hit the friendly skies, so he will be gone and flying most of the summer. So we are going to run away for a couple of days and then go somewhere at the end of the summer when it slows down a bit. We used to be fun and leave the house more. Maybe we can be fun again soon.

I’ll be there for you…like I’ve been there before.

Oh, much strength to you mama as you single parent so much. And I’ve been to that corner in NYC too — LOVE it!!! Also, I can totally see why you want to paper your house in those photos — adorable!!!
Cute pictures!
Those pics though!! 😍
