Last weekend it was cold and rainy, and I watched WAY too many reruns of Bachelor in Paradise. Judge away.
In addition to watching Jorge work his magic at the bar, I also read two books. I read Frontier Follies by everyone’s favorite cheese enthusiast, Ree, and That Sounds Fun by Annie Downs. Annie explores how we’ve lost Eden in our busy and always ‘needing more’ culture. She challenges you to slow down and get back to the simplicity of doing things just for the fun of them. So now I need a fun hobby….suggestions welcome.
You know what else is fun? Chickpeas. Obviously. This crunchy snack has become a favorite as of late.
I went over to my friend, Julie’s house on Monday for dinner. She had this print in her entryway. I need it. Bad. That’s what she said.
I saw this Texas bluebonnet sweatshirt yesterday. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these goes towards relief to help Texas after the unimaginable week they’ve had.
This little duo can always be found reading. As soon as they’re done with breakfast, they run straight for these books. Every. Single Day. We are very disciplined around here. They’re my own little Matildas.
If you have a baby in your life, I highly recommend them. They’re quite a hit around here.
To wrap things up, here’s a giggle for your day. #Jameson #BabyEtherly
May your weekend be as exotic as Kat’s Saffron Road Chickpeas.
