It’s October! We could be like every basic broad and post that Anne of Green Gables quote about Octobers, but we won’t. Did anyone else get super tickled in the 1985 version of Anne of Green Gables when Diana got drunk off raspberry cordial? What a hoot. Well, if we’d ever had raspberry cordial perhaps it would be a favorite, but we haven’t so we’ll join Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything for some more faves.

I think we’ve established that leopard print speaks to me. I just counted, and I have eight pairs of leopard shoes. I may need an intervention. But they are all different styles-heels, booties, sandals, rain boots, Toms..get off my leopard spotted back, OKAY? These mules might have the top spot in my heart though. Don’t tell the others.

I love an exfoliant. I bought this on a whim because I needed to spend a few more dollars at Ulta to get free shipping. I’m really good at math, and this is really good at washing away dead skin cells.

Caroline won’t let me share pictures of my overnight oats because they “aren’t pretty”. That’s valid I guess. But I’ve really been loving these apple cinnamon overnight oats from Well Plated with a dollop of the cinnamon bun spread from Trader Joe’s on top. Dollop now. Thank me later.

Kat and I are broken records in the fact that we always reference The Office. We make no apologies for that. I love listening to The Office Ladies podcast hosted by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, but Kat and Mark told me to listen to this one, and it’s amazing. It’s only on Spotify and only 12 episodes, but it’s wonderful, and I can’t stop listening. It makes long walks pushing a stroller so entertaining. It’s hosted by the guy who played Kevin, and who doesn’t love Kevin?

I also feel like all I talk about on here are salad concoctions. Don’t kale my vibe; I enjoy leafy greens. I got these pumpkin seeds at Trader Joes. Then I threw those, some diced apple, my favorite cheese from a goat, and some roasted sweet potatoes together and topped it with some balsamic vinaigrette. It’s been my lunch everyday this week. Lettuce celebrate October with a fall-inspired salad.

My friend, Jessica, recently started up a website selling pretty, vintage rugs. She’s a gem of a human, so take a look. Valor and Vintage Rugs

Watch this sweet video and be reminded of the good in the world. It’s there.
Thanks for stopping by today! We BETTE your October is off to a great start!

Y’all always write such fun posts!
Caroline, you belong in my punny family! You should see the family thread…I’ll share it sometime.
Fun, fun, fun!
No such thing as ugly oats. 😉
Thank YOU, ABBEY!
I picked up those leopard shoes last week at Target and then put them down. I thought I could live without them until now when I find out that Kat recommends them. I’m going back!
