Some of my favorite friends came to visit over the weekend and seeing their boys interact was the cutest.
My friend, Jennifer’s mom sent me a pie from the Southern Baked Pie Company, and oh my word-heavenly. Be a good friend. Ship someone a pie.
This response to “How I felt” KILLED me. What eight year old says that they were feeling “all the emotions”?!?
This has been a favorite toy around here. It comes with so many different pieces for you to mix and match to make a flower garden. It’s time consuming and creative play, which is what we need.
Do you need floors as bright and shiny as the future of the 3rd grader Kat mentioned above? Of course you do.
A dear friend of mine, Rachel, told me about the pickle hummus from Trader Joe’s several months ago. I love pickles, but I’m not as enthusiastic as her. She has been known to get those giant ones in a bag from the gas station, and I’m amazed and thankful she’s still with us and didn’t die from a sodium overdose. She’s also enjoyed a pickle popsicle aka picklesicle more than once. So I really didn’t know if I would like it because my heart isn’t quite as pickle shaped as hers. This week I decided to throw caution to the wind and get some, and it’s very delightful.
In the wilderness of life, one can never be too prepared. This troop of mine is now very prepared to describe the fall fashions to the blind thanks to their Aunt Kitty.
I think a new goal of mine is to get them all matching shirts/onesies with quotes and/or logos from my favorite movies. I reach for the stars, don’t I? Thank you to Kat for our first set.
Now throw on your khaki cape and feathered hat and enjoy your weekend!
