The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. I love summer. I love fireworks. I love food cooked on a grill. I love the zero pressure that the holiday brings. I love Lee Greenwood.
I’m going to provide you some outfit inspiration no matter where your fourth takes you.
Target. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Swing dresses are such an easy staple. You can dress them up or dress them down. They are comfortable and because #target, affordable. This one comes in blue and red and just throw on your flag fannypack and you’re ready to go.
Do you like to be aggressively patriotic? I know I do. Also, your fourth probably consists of several activities throughout the day/weekend. Do you need a festive tank to throw on over your swimsuit? Probably. I love getting ridiculous tanks from LookHuman.com for races that I run. This Boston Tea Party one might jump into my cart.
I love a romper. I wonder when I’ll stop wearing them. Not any time soon. This romper from H&M looks so comfortable and airy, and the navy and white striped one is perfect for the 4th.
Where there’s a will, there’s a chambray. Ok. Maybe not. But I DO love most things chambray. This square neck is adorable, and unlike the Boston Tea tank this can be worn well into the fall with a cardigan. That top with these white shorts just add some red jewelry, and you’ll be crowned Lady Liberty at your family barbecue.
I love the simplicity of this America tshirt. It’s available on Prime too. That’s almost as big of a win as the 4th falling on a Saturday this year. This one is cute and simple too, but unfortunately it’s not on Prime so order soon! It’s comes in red, white, and blue.
Ok. Last one. There are a lot of things I don’t know, but one thing is for sure, I need this dress. Collar? Check. Scallop? Check. Chambray? Check. #checksandbalances I checked that it had all the qualifications of being cute, and I’m going to balance my bank account accordingly. That’s what that means, right?
Red, White, and Bougie.
