We are joining A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals to bring you another edition of Friday Favorites.

Kat
*Have you ever used Poshmark? I hadn’t until last summer when my roommate and I decided that it was of the utmost importance that we recreate the Taylor Swift “You Need to Calm Down” music video. Obviously. A pink furry coat was a necessity. And Amazon failed us, but Poshmark did not. It’s a reputable consignment website. We crushed it.

I just bought this canteen purse from Poshmark the other week, and I’m in love. Is it wrong to love a bag? Maybe. But I don’t care. “When everything feels heavy, I’ve learned to travel light” with a really cute bag.

*I’ve shared my love of Ben Rector on here before. It’s a love that keeps growing stronger. He released a song last week about the pandemic and the world “ending”, and I love it. He made quarantine fun again. What a man. It has an 80s flair to it, so grab a scrunchie and some acid washed jeans and give it a listen.
*In the picture above when I am carrying my new purse, I’m at a strawberry field #strawberryfieldsforever to pick berries with two of my friends. Don’t I look the part of strawberry farmer? Anyway, I came home with a bounty of berries. I contemplated all the pound cakes I could make but then that leaves #bigKatrescue. I need pounds on my cake not pounds on my thighs, so I opted for lemon strawberry scones and homemade jam. Just call me Jessica Day.

Two-thirds of my favorites are about food. Pretty typical around here.

*I’ve mentioned my love of her cookbooks before. They are some in my collection that I reach for the most. I don’t know why I didn’t have this one yet because it’s not new; it’s been around for a while. I got it recently and have looked through it about 86 times already. Some of my favorite things to read are cookbooks. Nerd alert.
If you’ve been saying, “I’ve been eating way too many hot pockets and too much cheese from a can lately,” and are feeling inclined to clean up your diet a bit, grab one of her books. She has wonderful, easy recipes, and you’ll never find one with Velveeta or cream of chicken soup, which is a win for your arteries.
*I picked this up on my last trip to Trader Joe’s, and the moment I tried it was mad I didn’t buy 15 bags. It is delicious! It kiiind of gives me the feeling of eating the ever-so-wonderful Chex Party Mix, which our dear mother makes every Christmas. It tastes a bit like it, which I appreciate.

*My final favorite is just a little bit of cute that’s been happening lately. Lots of duck rides from Claire. We’ll be selling tickets to the public very soon.

Quack is whack.
Thanks for reading today. Stop by my house this weekend to ride in a bathtub duck and then by Kat’s for some jam. I bet she’ll let you wear the Taylor Swift coat too.

LOVE THAT BAG!!!! THOSE GIRLS IN THE DUCK THOUGH !!!!
Polly, quit shouting about purses and mallards.
cute purse, cute babies, cute jam!
What more does a girl need?
I want to come take a ride in the duck bathtub. Looks like loads of fun! 😉
Do it, girl.
My kids would be all for the duck rides! How fun! And the Taylor swift recreation is hilarious. I’ve tried Mercari, but not Poshmark. I might need to. You’ve given me I need a new bag fever!
Get a new bag. Treat yo self.
