If you need some inspiration for the Carol, June, or Marion in your life, I hope this will help. Or maybe your husband doesn’t even know it’s May yet, and you just want to buy yourself a gift. You do you.
Who remembers this from Home Improvement? If I hosted a low-rated, cable tool show, I could recreate this. Since I don’t, Paula Stewart will be receiving something else.
I’ve put together a variety of ideas, and they are all things that I’ve either purchased for myself or for someone else.

*But because I’m on fabulous sheets, I’m not as mad about it. I’ve mentioned these before on our blog, but they are worth talking about again. I bought the luxe sateen and have been very happy with them.
*I love to give cookbooks, and here are two that I’ve bought for myself and given as gifts. Great recipes AND pretty pictures=success

*These sugar body scrubs will bring a little bit of luxury to your shower. For this time of year, I’d recommend the coconut or strawberry one. At Christmas time, the gingerbread is my favorite. I smell just like a cookie, and I’m not upset about it and because of that, I wouldn’t mind the gingerbread one in May.

*I know we are getting into the warmer months, but your mother won’t even care that she’s receiving a blanket in May when it feels like this. This blanket literally feels like it was made by angels.
*I recently talked about my love for Chatbooks on another post. That love is still there. They are great quality and so quick and easy to put together. Right now (I’m typing this on Sunday and hopefully it’s still applicable) they have 15% off with the code LOVEMOM.

*Since we can’t all have a bank account and closet the size of Chrissy Teigen’s…

then we can’t all walk around as fancy as she does when we’re at home. However, these next three suggestions are probably just as comfortable as what she is donning.
The Cool Nights Pajamas from Soma are dreamy, hold up great, and don’t shrink in the dryer. What more could you need?
The Cool Nights Robe is light, comfy, and the same great quality.
The Stars Above pajama sets from Target feel more expensive than they are. These are another nice option.
*Finally, if your mother is anything like mine and often eats cake and cookies for breakfast, then a dessert delivery makes the perfect gift. I’ve never sent Jeni’s via mail, but I’ve had my fair share of the ice cream, and it’s worth every penny and calorie. I have sent gifts from the other two before and have had a great experience with both.
The Peanut Butter and the Gooey Butter Cake are what dreams are made of. I am sure of that.
Ali’s Cookies-I recommend the delicious dozen because you can pick several different kinds.
I hope this gave you an idea or two for your mom or to either hint to your kids and husband.
It’s only fitting that I end with some motherly wisdom from one of my favorite TV moms, Lorelai Gilmore. What a smart lady.

Who can we call to get this going? Do you have a guy?
Great list of gifts. I’ll take them all!
